Information on Szulik's claim
Perhaps you have not yet seen the news on the treaty that Mr. Bush signed with the Australian government. It effective imposes our unconstitutional DMCA upon the Aussies.

Perhaps Mr. Szulik understands that thwarting innovation in this country will ultimately cause our loss of leadership in technology and he believes that unfettered we can not only maintain this lead but increase it.

Everyone who has proclaimed that "All that could ever be discovered already has been discovered", has been proven wrong, almost immediately.

The surest way to lose leadership is to lock in the status quo. We must understand this and get this message to our legislators. We must convince them to revoke the "status quo lock in laws" that they have already passed. These laws are bad for our development, our research, our leadership, and our world status.
