Hold on!
First it's Apple not Mac. Mac is a type of computer Apple is the company that make Macs.

This is a market that's small right now but will be huge in years to come as I explained earlier. Microsoft, Sony, Apple, all have different DRM for download that is competing to become the leader. Consumers will decide who come out on top. So far it is Apple. I would love for them to be compatible, but from a business standpoint, I could understand.

Do you want Microsoft to be the only dominet player, like it is with the PC. Remember compitition is good for consumers.

"The only thing RealNetworks did is give you another option in regard to what music you can buy. How on earth can another option be a bad thing. With out that option you're pidgin holed into a Preparatory format, FairPlay DRM (digital rights management), which ensures that you only get music that;"

Real is doing this in a hostile way. Not only did they 'hack' into Apple's DRM but wants to license
that hack to others. Doing so will only disrupt Apple and whatever planes it has in the future. Would you want some other small company taking customers away from your business and introducing those customers to 8 more competitors. It will diminish iTunes lead.

Now that Real supposed to be the all mighty savior of consumers, why does Harmony not work on Macs. (thats millions of people left out). Don't be blind by RealNetworks intentions here.
