Apple is wrong
Real isn't "cracking" Apple encryption/DRM/whatever you want to call the garbage-copyright support, it's just adding the ability to use Real's file to the iPod.

I wouldn't buy an iPod anyway, get twice the storage (40GB) out of the Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra (long enough name for a product) for less than the $299 a 15GB iPod goes for. And iTunes, Real, "Fake"-ster all still charge way too much for their downloads.

Glad I don't like "modern" music. Got my oldies and such all on the Zen, over 250 CDs, Cassettes, and Albums worth, plus mulitple audio books as well. about 12 hours life on a single charge, and a user replaceable battery... (never been able to get through Tolkien's LotR trilogy without them, too dry in many spots...)
