How many people have paid to implement an elaborate software package, announced We have made a mistake, and disassembled all that had been done? The expenses? Cost of learning.

In one sense, though, he's correct. A large number of elaborate software packages were purchased and then never installed because of a change of mind. So long as salesforce.com's products are never used, they can be eliminated without taking up as much space.
