Novell grasping for straws????
There is nothing in the article that said anything about Novell wanting to sell. Sun is looking to buy! Right now, at 2.6Billion, Novell is a steal.

And by the way, IBM has already replaced over 40,000 MS servers with Linux servers (actually it probably turns out to be fewer Linux servers as every one knows it takes more MS servers to support a given number of users). HP is selling it's line of computers in Asia with what? Not Windows! SuSE Linux! Brazil recently started converting their entire country to Linux. And it goes on.

Oh, want to talk about stolen code? MS stole DOS from Digital Research! Remember the big push when 95 came out that it was NOT DOS, even tho in the registry it kept referring to DOS 7? They did not what it to be DOS because they had to pay royaltied to Digital Research (then owned by former Novell boss Ray Noorda). Any body remember that MS was developing OS2 for IBM? When they could not make it work, they split from IBM and came out with NT which low and behold included os2 code.

So there!
