Spoon Jabber ... one last thing...
? We?ve flogged this dog pretty hard, but I just wanted to add a couple more things.

I have spoken with some friends whose son?s are in Iraq, and have heard some letters. The words of these young fellows are chillingly familiar: I remember a 19-year-old who said those same things. I wanted to suggest that perhaps the differences in the views of your relatives who have seen both wars is because they are older now and more empowered.

And, secondly, I know there is no full-draft now, but I wanted to express my caution about the possibility that it could be reinstated under a second-term G.W. (Without getting much deeper into the Left?s ?Yeah, yeah, it?s gonna happen,? or the Right?s ?Naw, naw, never in a million years!?) From my vantage point, it looks like it could happen, for reasons which are way too lengthy to put down here. Believe me, if it does, I will take no satisfaction in an ?I told you so.?
