Off the top of my head, I can name three Java programs that I use:
-Art of Illusion (3D raytracer)
-Runescape (3D game)
-NetBeans (Java IDE)

That's only what I can think of in short notice. I'm sure if I were to dig deeper, I could find a lot more.
