IBM to make Java database open source

Why do I get the impression that you are bitter?: Have they been asking for that language and since you don't know it they pass you up for the job? What's it been now, 3 years or 4 since you actually had work (such that you are now really bugged by the lapse in your skills)? I am just curious.
