Of course there's plenty of room for Microsoft to grow. For instance, they could raise the price they charge to OEMs by quite a bit and hardly cut into sales at all.

More to the point, they can move into new markets. There are quite a few organizations on Earth that have much more income than Microsoft, and MS is at its best when challenging an established dominant player.

Of course, it would probably be wise of them not to start at the top but to work their way up. A move into Colombia to begin with would provide a considerable increase in funding and, perhaps more important, experienced personnel. After that, they might be in position to go after Brasil (the Brasilians have been dissing Redmond lately anyway.)

Alternately, there are quite a few small island nations that would make for easy pickings. Besides, some of them are quite pleasant places to use for private retreats.
