Get A Clue!!
ok first linux takes hours to install for a retard that has no knoweldge of linux.. and who has proven linux is not usable on a desktop?? you?? with the proper distros linux can be VERY VERY user friendly.. try ubuntu if you have no knoweldge.. or even debian if you have knoweldge but want packages easier...

using yum or apttitude it is not near as difficult as it once was to install/use linux.. and all windows apps/games can be ran using wine inside of linux... (yes not as efficient as windows fully) but microsoft is **** and the operating system is a joke.. what do you reccomend they throw on the systems Vista?? LMAO YEAH RIGHT..

" Then once you think you are ready to run the application it segfaults and causes a kernel panic"
OMG seriously?? yeah I mean cause windows has never done that, I mean Windows is an extremly stable operating system.. LOL man u just need to stop.. your points/arguments are seriously mis-informed and stupid... I use linux for everything and even design media systems using linux as the backend...

I will be here to laugh at your dumbass when they succeed with the venture... linux will be / is already a competing operating system very soon, seeing how it is opensource and they dont try to charge you every 2 years for updates / newer versions I think it is hilarious the stupidity of some of the MS fanboys out there...
