People use Microsoft NOT because they like the software but because someone higher up forces you too. Whether they want consistency at the top levels or because Microsoft is applying the screws to them (as in our case) or both, we would have preferred to stay on Netware and would be staying on Lotus Notes rather than going to Exchange at a multi-mullion-dollar cost (converting 100+ apps).

We are using Microsoft because someone said we have to.

I suspect a lot of companies are like that.
