We also have here at ASU
a drop from 1900 applicants to 50 for Masters and PhD programs.
I unnoficially found that out when I went to apply.
I was initially pleased because I thought that ensures me getting in....but after a while of thought it really horrified me... What kind of a future do we have here at all...?
Its getting to the point that I never hear of a foreign student saying things like "wow I'd really like to stay in your country". All the indians and Chinese are all excited about going to a booming economy that we don't have.
