OK - Here's a Question For You. How Big is the Economy of the EU?

From your own Washington Post: "The European Union's $16 trillion economy has been quietly surging for some time and has emerged as the largest trading bloc in the world, producing nearly a third of the global economy. That's more than the U.S. economy (27 percent) or Japan's (9 percent). Despite all the hype, China is still an economic dwarf, accounting for less than 6 percent of the world's economy. India is smaller still."

"Considered as a single economy, the EU generated an estimated nominal gross domestic product of US$16.6 trillion in 2007, amounting to 31% of the world's total economic.

It is the largest exporter of goods, the second largest importer, and the biggest trading partner to several countries such as the USA and China."

Microsoft is large, but the EU is far larger. If it fights the EU it will be Microsoft, not the EU, that will get the hiding.
