EU regulators cool on Microsoft open-source move
Oh jeez, is there anything that will please the EU? Despite Microsoft even going as far as offering source code these regulators still can't accept it. Money laundering is what its really turning out to be. More than likely they getting paid by the competition.

In a statement, the Commission said that while it would welcome greater interoperability, Microsoft had made similar announcements before.

And Microsoft has held true to those similar announcements. Then what happens is that even though Microsoft makes every effort available to become more interoperable its the same companies complaining that refuse to accept it. As said before, souce code was offered and they didn't take it. You can't get more operable than that! So the issue here is not Microsoft's statements, its these other companies and even the EU that keep turning down Microsoft's interoperability. Sorry EU, if you keep crying wolf eventually no one is going to listen to you.

Microsoft really needs to pull out of the Europe so their infrastructure will collapse and have to go back begging on their hands and knees. Then Microsoft can charge them double for the harassment they went through.
