yes, art should be free, but the CREATOR should be allowed to be compensated for his effort to contribute to our culture.

the problem with the system now is that the actual arist gets almost nothing, while the distributor steals all of the profitt and holds onto all rights, far beyond the life of the artist. exactly how does this support what copyright ws meant to do?
