Assumption of guilt

You and others seem to be assuming Google's guilt. That is blatantly unfair. Ask yourself one question: If Google intended to discriminate on the basis of age, why did they hire a 52 year old in the first place, just to fire him 2 years later. Sounds pretty stupid to me.

Their workforce statistics seem to be skewed in favor of a younger workforce, but is that proof of discrimination? Perhaps the very nature of the business limits the number of older job applicants.

Perhaps Google is guilty of this behavior, but I don't know that and neither do you. I believe we should wait and see what happens in this case before condemning the company as "just another stuck-up, greedy, back-stabbing company."
