Any price is fine
The share price is irrelevant. The total price is what matters. If Google sells 30 million shares at $100 or 300 million shares at $10, the amount they're asking for the company is the same. With modern brokerages, you can buy any amount of shares you want. If you're saying Google isn't worth $3 billion, I can see your point. If you're saying google is a value at $10 per share but not at $100 per share, you are a fool for not understanding total worth.

If you intended to buy only $10 (1 share?) of google and now can't, I really question your sanity to think you can even participate in an IPO. The IPO industry is as corrupt as the recording industry. Shares go to those with connections and after all those people got all they wanted, then the common folk get to buy some.
