Doubtful if the RIAA has it's way
They want to make music even more expensive on-line. Also remember the X-box and PS-2 only lose money when they are first released. As time goes by they get less expensive to make yet they charge the same price. When you think about it, you can buy a DVD player for $35 now at Walmart and a 733 Mhz computer with no monitor for $75. That's a price of $110 yet the X-box still cost over $200. You can't tell me they are losing money on the X-Box today.
