I Would Care If.....
It was winamp that did the cracking. Winamp is the *only* decent player that exists. It is lean, mean, and doesn't try to control the user's machine.

I am waiting for a portable music player from a real PC company. One that includes a battery that can be user replaced and doesn't include a crappy propriety (read AAC or WMA) format.

Snobby Apple users will surely flame me, but you have to admit that the AAC and battery issues with the ipod (body snatchers) are really lame.
