Canonical distributes Parallels via desktop update
This will be a great way for linux users to migrate to a Windows environment. Those desktop users can run Windows in parallels until they can get all of their applications working in Windows which should be fairly easy since any software available on linux is available on Windows, then just load Windows directly onto the harddrive bypassing the need for the software. The same can be said for the server. They will be much happier knowing they will be able to run programs that are compatible with the rest of the world. They will be able to play games on their computers as well. I have to thank Canonical for shooting themselves in the foot with this move. Without it people would still be stuck on linux with their segfaults and kernel panics but now they made it simple for those people to move to another platform.
