End of software ?
or the beginning of recurring fees paid to industry parasites.

Sorry but my company likes to own software, pay for it once, and not have to pay for it again year after year after year.

"CRM is a green field, because more than 50 percent of all CRM implementations have failed." Where'd that data come from? This guy is living in some fantasy world and seems to have no respect or confidence in IT professionals. IT pros don't often recommend web-based solutions due to the recurring subscription fees and little or no ROI over real software. He's been deluded because he influenced his stuffed-shirt buddies to sign up for his service, most likely, against the recommendations of their IT staff.

When it's up and running, the administrative overhead isn't as high as this gentleman would like us to believe.

Frankly I don't see any advantage whatsoever to using a web site over using a prog like ACT or other software-based CRM solutions. In fact, using a service like this puts the companies sales data at risk of either being harvested or held hostage for a subscription fee payment.

I consider his proclamation that it is the "end of software" to be the equivalent of premature ejaculation.
