Give me a break
People will always need support no matter how good you make the software. This is mostly because of the varying degrees of computer ability among users and admin. For example in your suggested world you should never need anyone to answer the phone for file copying issues because MS has made windows so wonderful that anyone can use it. Yet I get called several times a week with someone asking how to get a file off their cd to the hdd. This goes for administrators as well. Sometimes you have unique situations where things have to be specialized and edited and you need to call Red Hat or MS or whoever made the OS to get it to work. Your obviously a MS guy and that's fine, but your going to need better FUD than that around here if you want to be taken seriously.
