Here is what bugs me
My father in law recently taped Band of Brothers from the History Channel on a VCR and loaned the tapes to his sister as he has done with other shows many times in the past (since the mid 80?s or so).

It appears that in the eyes of this law he is now a criminal, no, a nefarious leader of an analog pirate ring just waiting to be hauled off to the big house.

This proposed law is just dead wrong. I was once a supporter of Senator Hatch, but I am no longer. This is a far more heinous law than the hated DMCA and will trample the last, tattered vestiges of fair use.

I hate the RIAA and all of it's member labels and this law is yet another example of why. I say Boycott, boycott, boycott. And when you are done, boycott some more.
