I never said NORAD wasn't "up"
Only that they obviously chose to willingly stand down, which makes NO sense. When a transponder goes off, if contact is not established with the pilot of the aircraft within TWO minutes, fighter jets are deployed. The FAA claims that they lost the planes because of the lack of transponder signal. But this does not take into account MILITARY radar, which knew EXACTLY where all four planes were at all times. They could have gotten to those planes in less than 15 minutes, but claim that they couldn't catch up in almost an hour's time. It is a complete lie, plain and simple.
