This will affect more than P2P
The IICA will affect any service, device, software, media, or other product which has the capability of being used to infringe on copyright:

* Network providers (e.g. ISPs) which permit "Inducing Devices" to be connected to their networks. Don't be suprised when your ISP denies you network access if you are not using a "trusted" system (OS/Hardware).

* All contemporary operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, *BSD) which do not enforce DRM

* General purpose computers and peripherals without hardware support for DRM

*Existing televisions with their unprotected video output which may be used to record programming

* All non-copy-controlled recording devices (e.g. VCRs, cassette recorders, etc) and their associated media (e.g. recordable CDs). You may able to keep your CD burners, but you won't be able to buy any more blanks.

* Fax machines and xerographic copiers, and so on.

The problem with the IICA is that it exposes any manufacturer or vendor of "Inducing Devices" to ruinous lawsuits. So these devices will disappear from the marketplace.

Oh, and don't wait too long to import your existing data (e.g. family photographs) to the coming Intellectual Property Control Systems. Once the grace period expires you'll have to go through an expensive certification and review process for any legacy data that you wish to import.
