MS Features of Endless Pain
``XP doesn't cause the phishing problem. The phishing scams are perpetrated by fraudulant crooks. The problem is that security problems allow such crooks to easily mass mail SPAM messages to users to get their user ID and passwords from legitimate sites.''

It does NOT cause it but it ALLOWS it to take place SO EASILY that all the crooks around the world cannot resists the temptation. Given the lengthy series of incidences on this platform on this serious issue, why does this platform STILL allows this to happen? Either the vendor does not care OR he is not able to fix it. In either way this is very BAD for this vendor.

``Phishing is a socially engineered fraud that spreads because people are lazy and the sendors knows that all he needs is a few gullible people who would rather "click here" to go to a supposed site rather than type in an address or go through a "trusted" bookmark.''

Ohhh now you are forgetting the basic premise of ms windows: it was designed for the techno-less masses. People who cannot leave the comfort of the `point&clock&done' moto. That is the BIGGEST selling point of it. That IS why the Vendor should have taken some REASONABLE measures NOT TO make it so EASY for the basic windwoes audience get hijacked into suspect sites or run REMOTE destructive / intrusive code.

Is this clear D.mb2?
