Those are not music sharing uses...
... and are you sure they're able to monitor downloads well enough to produce useful marketing information? Thought even their sabotage and spying were retail.

No, iMesh is supposed to stay open as a P2P for music sharing.
If that's the case, then how would it be possible for the music shared to be limited to one company? And how would a file be prevented from coming into the network?

Other news stories don't have much more detail than this one. The deal signed is going to be important because it will show how RIAA intends to harness P2P; I'll be interested to see it.
