Since when is it CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR to settle a lawsuit? Since when is it IMMORAL? You don't like MS, fine. Don't use their products.

For crying out loud, MS simply wanted to avoid losing their Windows trademark. This is NOT criminal, it IS business. Perhaps someone else will come along later and make a more direct challenge to the trademark. Perhaps not.

Comparing the low-life human debris that sells drugs to MS employees is just ludicrous. I am not now, nor have I ever been a MS employee, but I can assure you that among their many thousands of employees there are large numbers of highly moral and decent people. If you don't like what MS management does, take it out on them. Their rank and file employees are just trying to make a living like most of the rest of us...perfectly legally.
