Who benefits ?
OK, rivals may choose to try to deplete the advertising budget of a competitor. (But would they really spend much of their own money employing Indians to do it ? )

Other than that, surely the only people who would profit from 'click fraud' would be the sites selling the advertising.

If you don't trust Yahoo or Google or whoever, maybe you should not advertise there. Imagine the lawsuit if (say) Google was found to be inflating their click-through figures in this way. Pretty good deterrent ?

Someone once said "I know half my advertising budget is wasted, but I don't know which half". 20% 'click fraud' leaves 80% genuine views !
