We all know Linux is loosely modelled to unix standards, freely available and published standards, so no copyright infringment there. As I understand it anyone can create an os while following unix standards and even can get this program certified by the unix standards body.

Is SCO now claiming ownership of all unix versions out there? If so how come they already said HP and Sun are not infringing? If you use non literal copying as a base it is impossible that neither hp or suns versions are not infringing as well.
