I like LINUX et al and work on *NIX boxes every day but what does your post have anything to do with the main article?

Also, SP2 has not been released and therefore it is not production level code and therefore it is "caveat emptor" aka "let the buyer beware" aka "try at your own risk."

Another thing, MS is recompiling pretty much all their code to do stack corruption checking which is one reason the update is so large. Such tools also exist in the open source space:

They're also having issues being compatible with various pieces of software.

Your post is noise... go raise maize in the SW and tire yourself out... grow up.
