Red Hat didn't deceive anyone...
This isn't about Red Hat deceiving anyone. This is a typical case of siren chasers, i.e. LIARS, I mean lawyers, trying to steal Red Hat's profits. The restated financials show a net income of 7 cent per share vs. 8 cents. That is hardly fraud. The fraud comes when the LIARS try to steal the profits in the name of protecting stock investors. Before ANYONE gets ruffled feathers, read the Safe Harbor disclaimer on all 10Q's and understand that no fraud has been noted in Red Hat's financials to date. If by some wild azz stroke of insanity a court were to rule that investors were some how defrauded, which is highly unlikely, the stock holders wouldn't get squat in compensation from this bogus legal action. But at the end of the day the class action LIARS, I mean lawyers will get MILLIONS in "legal fees" billing at a $1000/hr. (or more) per employee... (like for receptionists, janitor, interns, etc.). THAT is the fraud and injustice, not a 1 cent per share change in profits, ferchristsake. If Red Hat didn't have the bucks, no liar, I mean lawyer would touch this case. The U.S. has more siren chasers than any other country in the World.
