iTunes rules, eBay drools.
Why do these people think they can come up with a money
making model. iTunes is now slightly profitable on its own. But
its real purpose makes the $ for apple--860,000 iPods in the
last quarter. Who will bite the dust first? Napster, Sony Connect,
Buymusic.com? They have to be propped up by some other
division of a larger company to stay in the game with Apple
owning a 70% market share. Remember that MS only makes
money off of Windows and Office and loses on everything else.
Apple can stay in this game as long as they want if they are
making any profit at all on the music.
