First Amendment changes when you change channels?
Mr. Powell is trying to apply 1950's law and reality to 21st Century reality. When these FCC rules of governing the airwaves were written, the airwaves were free. Anyone with a TV or radio could be entertained for free and still can. So, I say the FCC has every right to monitor those airwaves.

This all changes when you introduce paid subscription-based channels. I pay for HBO, MTV, CNN, and many other channels. The networks are still free (or can be) but on satellite/cable I am paying for those channels. Directly or indirectly I'm paying for them and the FCC should keep its hands off.
