True, but...
One of my points was that if he wants to change the rules, he has to become one of the vocal minorities. Of course, my assuption that he's in the silent majority comes from his assertion that he's tired of others forcing their values on him. If he's actually in an opposing minority, then my hat's off to him for having the courage of his convictions.

The nature of the political beast is that those who are willing to affect a change will always force that change on those that do not oppose the change.

I always have one question for people who complain about their elected officials: "Did you vote?" If the answer is no, then I tell them that they have no right to complain, as they have accepted what the voters have chosen to give them. Similarly, if Arrg is unwilling to fight for his values, then he should just be silent and stand with the majority.
