relativity of ease...
ease of use is sometimes relative. i've tried various versions of linux and it's definately improving.
i find linux is MUCH esier to install than windows.. especially Suse (i haven't tried RH in years). Where Linux is not as easy as windows is installing 3rd party applications and drivers. Hopefully the ne commitment to installshield on linux will make this a more managable solution.

the other issue is lack of software. no i'm not talking about office... i use OOO almost exclusivly on my windows boxes. i'm talking about smaller pieces of specialty software that there is no good substitute for on Linux.
This wont affect the average use much, but for people like me who use these tools all the time, it's a defiante show stopper.
