Yes, but THEY HAVE to clean THEIR mess
A few years back, the motto at Redmond was ''We work
hard and we play hard''.

Apparently they WERE playing harder than working and the
ENDLESS MESS is infront of our eyes.

Some articles claim that the bill to clean up MS's security
mess last year costed $200 Billion to the all of US (directly
or indicrectly) and that millions of PCs are affected
everytime an idiotic virus enters Internet through zombie
PCs or users.

At the same time the `Software Giant' has amassed $50
Billions in cash alone, not counting the cash accumulated at
the pockets of the top echelon's cast.

They have by far more resources than any other vendor,
they had great financial success, but their products fail left
and right incessantly. I don't feel for them at all.

As a matter of fact, the ONLY positive thing that has come
out of their success is that ALTERNATIVE platforms had to
buckle down and IMPROVE themselves in terms of
performance and cost.

Ironically, even if MS decides to change its corporate
mentality and stats competing based on true merits, by the
time they manage to do this they are going to be largely
irrelevant even in the desktop. In the server, they never
made it anyway.
