If a tree falls and no one's there to hear it...
If they make it that difficult then what good is it? If common people don't know a feature exists, then as far as they are concerned it does not exist. And that's the case, the programmer is just as much at fault as if he left the feature out completely.

It's small things like this that make you wonder just how seriously MS does take security. They KNOW that people don't use features they can't find.
