There are ways of earning money without losing trust
I nobody will go their bosses to tell them to quit earning money. Some may, however, tell them they would rather work in an environment in which actually helping their clients is the encouraged way of earning their money, and not cajoling them and promising them the world in the future but never quite living up to those promises.

It's not a sin to earn a fortune. But don't expect people to like or trust you if you do not give your customers what they want for their money. The reason people complain about those new volume licences is because they don't feel as if they are getting their money's worth. If they felt they were getting the bang for their buck, they wouldn't mind it.
