Who do you work for?
I'm trying to figure out what you company's motivation is for existance. If you are representative of their employees, I would guess that they exist to create cool ideas that generate no income for anyone. So, do you work for them for free? Do you have no motivation to advance within your company? Maybe make some more money? I guess not because anyone that does anything for money is a greedy shill, by your definition.

Me, I'm a shill. I study for advanced degrees and certifications becuase I like what I do, but also because I know lazy people won't and my company will reward me for my motivation. I want nicer things in life and I want more of it. I guess you'd say, well, I'm a capitalist and I like it.
