Only about half
People take the bible far to literally. First off it's pieces were written thousands of years ago. So the culture of then is entirely differnt than the culture today, for example women are not property today like they were in biblical times.

If you are a christian then you should know that the new testament is the relevant part of the bible. The new testament is mainly about Jesus who was only born approx 2000 yrs ago, and some parts were written approx 400 yrs later. And I'm sure Gods word is just as relevant today as it ever has been.

So when you say "thousands of years ago", that is not quite right.

Are you one of those "christians" who picks and chooses the parts you like and disregard the rest?
