Just because we criticise the over-zealous posers who want to denegrade everyone who does not believe EXACTLY the same as they do... You might find if you asked that there are some believers doing the "insulting." It has to do with how the material is presented, wouldn't you agree?

As for implanting, depends on how it is done as to where it ends up. However, I don't think that the technology was "foreseen." At the time of writing and even now, the accepted method of marking property (human or otherwise) was to brand or tattoo it.

The fallacy with your argument is that you assume that having an implant will save your life or that of your child's. Unfortunately, in this savage world, it may only provide the cold comfort of allowing the family to retrieve the remains.
