Man will always abuse technology. This is not even a shock to me. I saw it coming when I first heard about RFID technology.
In the US, it will start with Military members. The premise will be for the tracking of personnel in battle. The other premise will be the ability for a service member to carry with him/her, their medical, dental and service jacket. Sounds great, cut's down on paper and reduces lost records during transfer to a very low percentage.
Then, it will filter in to military families, to protect them against terrorist kidnappers. That will be the premise there.
From there it will filter into main stream society, where if it hasn't occurred by then, revolt will be too late and George Orwell's book, becomes reality. Me personally, I will fight. There is no way in hell I will be tagged like an animal (yes, I know homo-sapien is an animal...) My family will not be tagged either.
This is a serious threat to the freedoms we now enjoy in the US. Sure it's happening in Japan, wait and it will happen here. Like I said, the military is always a guinea pig for things like this prior to implementation into the general population. Think about it, a controlled source of bodies to practice and perfect on. They cannot refuse without facing severe repercussions, the perfect human lab rats, our military.
If you value your freedom, you will get the message out to as many people as you can. You will do all you can by using your power to vote and protest, and if it is still pushed to happen, then Americans need to rise against a new threat to our freedom... and reclaim this land for the free.
People used to laugh at me when I would talk about things like this happening. They have since stopped laughing as a variety of things are starting to transpire. I fear for the free people of the United States. We as a nation have been lulled into a sense of complacency, apathetic to what happens to us as a nation, as a people.
Maybe I am sounding like a conspiracy theorist, but use your own judgement, look at the past performance of our government. Look at what this is capable of doing and look at the possibility that it could very well happen here. - Posted by: Linux User 147560 Posted on: 07/12/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
