What did they expect?
Their certification tests are incredibly superficial, and the
companies that offer M$ training just teach people to pass the
tests. Now they wonder why no one has in-depth knowledge of
their products?

Don't expect this to change. People who use Microsoft products
are all about doing things on the cheap. If they start to grasp
how much it's really going to cost to use their products they
might start looking at the alternatives and working the numbers.
Either that or they'll just hunker down and do business as usual
while the companies that are embracing open source software
eat their lunch.
