I feel your pain

I would prefer a Mac but stuck on a PC, why? Because of cost. I don't want an eMac. The monitor will die in a couple years and what do I do with the computer then. Besides I already have a monitor. Give me a cheap computer to get away from all this unstableness (Windows). OS X is mature enough to hold its own weight. People like me are willing to switch but Jobs and company is making it hard to do so.

Her is a suggestion Apple: Do a test and build a Mac for about $650. See how many people are willing to buy and switch then. If people are not buying these machines like hotcakes then I will shut up.

Back on topic, Macworld should stayed in New York no matter how much it cost. We will soon see the demise of Macworld on the east because Apple will not attend.
