" I won't use the words "incompetent" and "lazy" to describe
a company that has $56B in cash and runs rings around
poor little Apple with their pathetic 2% marketshare."

What about a company with bugs galore, a browser that
shouldn't be connected to the internet, a email client that
operates as a virii petri-dish, and an OS upgrade possible
in 2006 (many believe later)?

"Reminds me of those people that say things like Gates is
"stupid" or a "moron"."

Its not as if he said :

"Internet is a passing fad"

"IE can't be remove from windows"

"640KB is all the memory anyone would require"

Of course with all that brilliance we have the following
innovative product from Bill:

Oh, can't think of any... please help

"Can't say I have sleepless nights though..."

So either you don't administer any MS servers or desktops
or you live in denial. For anyone actually working in IT
regardless of allegiance to MS, one windows server or
desktop is enough to keep us awake at nights wondering
what worm is next!

From the original post :

[MS is ]"corrupt, incompetent, manipulative and lazy"

Corrupt - proven beyond doubt with several anti-trust case
(all lost).

Incompetent - begs the question "in what". IT hasn't been
kind to MS but in marketing and FUD they are brilliant.

Manipulative - well the pressure MS applied to OEMs would
be enough to prove this point (read statement of fact). Eg.
Apple to withdraw support for Netscape or face Office
death.

Lazy - Security problems by the truckload, many years old.
Browser without pop-blocking, email client running virii
wild, poor standards support, etc.
