The best selling point anyone can make...
... is that their product or service works well, does want I (the customer) want it to do, and it is affordable. That holds true in any industry for any company. That is also what breeds loyalty. Cajoling, condecending, promising the moon on future releases if you just buy this one, etc., those don't work for me.

If any company can do that, even Microsoft, then I'm sold. I buy their USB Optical Wheel Mouses (or is it mice?) regularly, because they are cheap, they do what I want (which is to provide as much comfortable accomodation for the lefties, which we have plenty of, as the righties), and they need no maintenance. Oh how I wish Windows were just as good.
