Not quite right there
The artist gets paid royalty payment of a percentage of the CD sale, a small percentage at that. So having 1 copy or 10 copies of the same song on the disk means nothing. Now if you talk song writers they complained about there being 2 copies on CD but I believe they were shot down for being stupid. So it's not hurting artists at all, no more so than me making 5 Mix CDs which I can do under fair use. Having 2 copies on CD already is just the same thing.
