Look around Bit.
You still can't seem to see the big picture Bit.

With their commercial products now ported to Linux and their own kernel, aquisition of SuSE and Ximian, a world-wide support network, support from other corporate giants, Novell is poised to explode.

Look around Bit. The MS OS and Office monopolies are being challenged all over the World by Linux and the many companies using, selling, and supporting it and MS is losing more and more of their market-share. SuSE Linux will overtake Red Hat as the most used Linux distribution in the near future because it is very, very good. Novell's Ximian products are quickly breaking down the MS lock-in barriers.

While you still seem to suffer from a lack of information it is clear that Novell and IBM have learned some hard lessons from the past and are now in very good position going forward.
