What is your logical basis for this?
Linux is a tool he and many others have decided to utilize in place of the more expensive proprietary tools. Why should they work for free? The decision to save some of the hard earned $$$ they are being paid by using a lesser expensive tool shows that at least they are wise enough to make a purchase that not only saves them money, but time as well as provides them with what they need to get the job done.

I think you are just ticked off because of all the money you have had to pay for licenses and then the money lost on productivity due to the constant updates, patches and security issues attributed with your software of choice. And now you are faced with 2 choices, learn to adapt to a new way of thinking and conducting business, or go the way of the abbacus.

I use Linux, a tool that is well worth the initial time I invested. Since I am now more productive and no longer worried about license fees, audits, being sued by the BSA, or breaking any other laws by having to pirate other tools I need. I get paid for what I do.

Either way you need to pull your head out, step in the shower to wash the funk off then smell the roses.
